Office manager is rude and lazy. Every time I go in the office she is glued to the chair and barks orders to staff and customers in the waiting area. She should not be in the front of the office and should work in the back away from the public . Very negative energy b

I went to Neibauer in Culpeper...

Well after two rounds of heavy duty antibiotics and the loss of the tooth the infection was finely cleared up and doing better. I saw another dentist for my dental care Doctor Shermin in Orange. Neibauer said I needed a deep scaling 800.00 for cleaning my teeth and that I also had seven other cavities to be filled. However this is not the case I had a regular cleaning my teeth look and feel great by the way. All and all with the cleaning and the teeth to be filled would of been over 3000.00 dollars. 500.00 dollars later my teeth are cleaned I have an exam and the tooth was pulled leaving roughly 2500.00 worth of work not needed. My new dentist office called to get my exrays they said they didn't have them anymore computer glitch. But when I called the girl at the front desk had no problem finding them. Someone from corporate called me I gather from this review wanting to talk to me called back several times she had someone else call me spoke with them she said the other would call me back but never did. They caused me a great deal of expense and pain yet they have not seemed concerned at all. I will never go there again and have told all my friends to stay away their business is about money not the patient. Don't get duped into these large ticket price items they say need to be done you will just be out a lot of money for no reason. I went to Neibauer in Culpeper because I was have some pain when drinking cold liquids on a back tooth. I got there and they were friendly enough however my experience was anything but pleasant. Not only did I sit in the chair for just over four hours and only had anyone work on me for for maybe just over an hour including e-xrays of my enstire mouth (their special at the time not worth it) little did I know my hell would just begin. Once the novacain wore off the pain was unbearable. Far worse then what I had been experiencing prior to my visit. I called the next day requesting to come back in and was told my dentist was not there and they could nto see me. Called again and got in monday and saw the other dentist Mrs Fairy and although she was kind but after explaining to her I had a fever and night sweats, chills and terrible pain she prescibed oxicodone and a mouth rinse and sent me home. Things continued to get worse and I returned once again and saw my doctor and she redid ex-rays for those teeth and saw nothing wrong even though again I explained the fever, night sweats, chills and the pain. She sent me home with another prescription for oxicodone and told me to go see this dentist for some root canals and return there to get crowns. My complaints were pretty much ignored. It continued to get worse and I went to the doctor and found out I have a bacteria infection that had gotten pretty bad and was put on some heavy duty antibiotics which I am still taking to try and clear up the infection. I have a heart murmur which I had informed them about and as a result the infection could do great harm and I have to have an echo gram done on Tuesday to make sure there is no damage caused by this infection. All this too have a tooth filled which she said I needed three filled and that is what she was supposed to do. Not only are the fillings rough and scrape the inside of my mouth but what she did put in there is falling out. I can not have this proceedure redone until I get rid of the infection. It has been more then a month and not only has it cost me a great deal of money with them but the added expense of going to my doctors and the tests I now have to have. This is has been going on for a month now. The fillings were not complete she rushed through them leaving nerve exposed causing the infection. I still take pain medication just to take the edge off of my pain. My advice to you is to stay as far away from this place as you can.

I had been getting great denta...

I had been getting great dental care until this last appointment, although they never seemed to be able to get insurance right. This last visit, everything and everyone seems to have changed on the staff. Very poor work on the cleaning, and they charged me extra for work they didn't do. They even had the nerve to describe me as a "high profit patient" due to work I had done about a year ago. Money, money, money, I guess. I'll be moving onto a new dentist now. What a shame since their hours are convenient and office is very nice.

Recently my dentist of 18 year...

Recently my dentist of 18 years sold his business in Alexandria and moved to Culpeper to work for Neibauer Dental clinic. Although I have read some varying reviews of the many Neibauer dentists, the culpeper office and the people in that area are fortunate to have Dr. Denis Peper there as the new dentist. He is by far the most thorough dentist with the greatest attention to detail I have ever seen. He was well known in the northern Virginia area for his excellent cosmetic dentistry skills and his kind manner. I will be traveling to Culpeper for my appointments because it is rare to find such a great dentist.

I was very appreciative of this nice review and several others by patients who came to see me in Culpeper, Va at Neibauer Dental Clinic. I am sorry to say that after just 3 months, I found it necessary to make a change and leave NDC. I am moving back into Northern Virginia and will be practicing in Crystal City, Va., at the same location that I spent 19 years in private practice. I thank you for your support.

Outstanding Dentist

I am one of those people that are TERRIFIED of the dentist. I recently had a cavity that was causing soooo much pain I decided it was time to go to the torture chamber. I couldn't believe how great everyone at the office was. The Dr. was sympathetic to my fears, took the time to answer all of my questions, and recommended a treatment plan that was in MY best interest, not the best interest of his pocket.

I have recomended him to everyone I know and will continue to do so. I even plan on getting regular check ups and teeth cleanings!!

By the way he is also GREAT with children. I took all 5 of mine to him and they left smiling!
