The mission of Culpeper Literacy Council is to promote, coordinate and facilitate planning and development of literacy services for adults 18 years of age or older in the Culpeper community. Originally started in January of 1987, Culpeper Literacy Council was established as non-profit in 1989 and has been a successful resource for adult education for 22 years. Our Services: Culpeper Literacy Council provides classes for students who wish to learn English as a second language, obtain a GED, or learn about United States Citizenship. Free one-on-one tutoring to adults who wish to read, improve basic skills and obtain a GED is also provided.
