I have a large work truck that had some transmission problems. I went to Maax based on a recommendation of another auto repair shop. The owner and I test drove the truck and he though it might be minor but asked me to bring it back in during the week for his tech to take apart the bottom pan and have a look. He said he would only charge me $20 to diagnose it. The tech found the transmission to be beyond repair and I needed a rebuild. He quoted a very fair price for rebuild at $1100 with a year warranty. He also offered a remanufactured one with a 100,000 mile warranty for $3000 plus the cost of oil. I checked around all day for the same service and Maax was the lowest, so I set up an appointment and paid a deposit. The service was done in the time as promised. It has been a year since the service and the truck has ran better than the original transmission. I would recommend Maax to anyone.
