The Wilds is a nonprofit conservation center that is a home to more than 25 species of nonnative wildlife from Africa, Asia and North America. It works in partnership with various international organizations, such as the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Science, Conservation Breeding Specialist Group and the European Assocation of Zoos and Aquaria. It offers graduate, professional and international training programs to university students, graduate students and wildlife professionals. The center offers a variety of educational activities that include guided tours, day activities for school and youth groups, overnight camps and wildecamp summer camps. Established in 1984, The Wilds has spread over the area of more than 10,000 acres and is located in Cumberland, Ohio.
