My grandmother arrived at the Manor around July- We all thought this has to be the worst thing ....We were all WRONG- You could not ask for a better staff! Everyone is nice and helpful and believe me - my grandmother would tell us if she did not like it... It's not an act with the nursing staff- you can just tell. When you are several miles away that is a piece of mind. ..and taking care of all the ladies ..WOW....such a hugh job. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts !

It was a difficult decision to finally put my mother in a nursing facility, but the people at the Manor have almost become like members of our family over the past year. Everyone there is so kind and giving of their time. One of the nurses there even said to me the other day that even if she didn't get paid to do what she does with the residents there, she still would want to do it because she loves what she does and the people there. Even though my mother isn't at "home" she feels very much like at her "2nd home" there. Sometimes when I bring her to my house for a holiday, she is anxious to get back because she misses her friends there and, I think is afraid she might miss out on one of the many activities they always have going on there. The staff always includes the families in almost every event and encourages us to visit and stay as often and as long as we like. My sister and I love going to visit mother and sitting on the front porch with everyone.
