The Forsyth County Adult Detention Center, governed by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, houses various inmates. It offers the G.E.D. program and volunteer church services. The center also provides emergency and nonemergency solutions. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office operates K-9, criminal investigations, training, mounted patrol and crime prevention units. In addition, it offers the Campus Crime Stoppers program. The office s uniform patrol division guards the streets and neighborhoods of Forsyth County in Georgia 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office also has a civil unit and crisis negotiation team. It provides court security solutions.
