To make a long story short, a small mistake was made that really screwed us up. Our preparer was very nice and fixed the problem, however, we felt that it was only right that we be reimbursed for the fee we paid for our taxes to be done correctly.



Cheryl, the owner of this business, strongly disagreed with our request. She got very defensive, raised her voice, and continuously denied us a refund. She called us immature and childish, and she even told us that she didn't want to refund us so that she could 'teach us a lesson.' She was denying our refund on the basis that 'they had still done the work,' even though the work had been done incorrectly.



Overall, we did not feel valued during this interaction. We felt belittled, and we did not feel as though we were taken seriously because we are so 'young,' (my husband is 30 and I'm 27).



I feel that since Cheryl has treated us so poorly, she's surely treated customers this poorly in the past and will do so again in the future.
