Horatio's Homemade Ice Cream is a locally, family-owned and operated, small batch ice cream shop in downtown Custer, South Dakota, the oldest town in the Black Hills. We are located in the 1881 First National Bank of Dakota Territory Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We make all of our premium ice cream, sorbets and non-dairy options in -house. You can get yours in a fresh hand rolled waffle cone! Our menu also features sundaes, floats and ice cream sandwiches. Fresh brewed coffee and ice tea are also available. Flavors are ever-changing, keeping it fresh! We are open seasonally, mid-March through October, and have pop-up dates throughout the winter.
