I've been looking for a long arm for about a year. The current world situation slowed my search considerably. All the quilt shops in my area were very helpful but Chris at Barnes was amazing. I purchased my dream long arm quilting machine and table. He listened to what I wanted and made sure by offering me to try more machines to confirm my choice. After talking to and visiting about a half dozen quilt shops Barnes earned my business. It is difficult when making such a large ticket purchase but Barnes made it so much easier. Thank you Chris and your entire staff.

I have been dealing with Barnes for several years. Bob and Chris know the products they sell and are very kind and helpful. The employees know the business and eagerly help when you ask for help. No other store offers this service as good as Barnes. I strongly suggest you stay with this store. I have never heard of a negative remark about this store. Bob and Chris work with you, not against you. I have dealt with 3 other stores and Barnes rates the highest.

I needed my 1 1/2 year old sewing machine bobbin casing repaired. They were more interested in pressuring me to buy a new machine than they were in assessing and repairing my current machine. I won't go back to Barnes Sewing Center.
UPDATE ... I went to Akron Sewing Machine (Howe Avenue) the following day. All my machine needed was the bobbin plate repositioned. She fixed it in 2 minutes ... at no charge!!! (And Barnes quoted me a minimum of $100 and recommended I just trade my machine in on a new on. Scammers!)

Staff here is always helpful friendly and willing to teach. Great workshops and great sales deals. Highly recommend this store

Very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I couldn't decide between two machines, so they let me try both for a weekend. I wound up buying both (done for my daughter)! They warranted the machines and stand by their warranty.
