I work for Best Buy in the Geek Squad. People need to understand that most of the repairs that can be done within the precinct itself are done within 3-5 days. This is a standard that corporate holds us to. Also you need to understand that Best Buy is a very large chain. We deal with a lot of units at any given time. It's not like your local computer store which does not get as much business so they have time to really focus on your individual issue. Another point I would like to make is Geek Squad City works independently from the in-store precinct. A lot of the times that are slow and they do send units back with the same issue it went out for. This frustrates us Agents as much as it does the customer due to the fact that we then have to take the verbal beating the customer feels we so justly deserve. I'm not going to deny that mistakes are made but like I said we deal with a lot of units and its hard to be perfect every time.
