I went to Value City the week between Christmas and New Years looking for a deal on a chair and ottoman. I must admit I didn't exactly look my best...very tired from the holiday, my daughter's recent wedding et all. I must have looked like I didn't have a nickle to my name because not ONE person asked if they could help me. Several people walked in right after I did and they were instantly set upon by sales people. I sat down in a leather chair, obviously interested, and an older saleswoman looked at me, turned her head and walked right passed. Needless to say, I got up and left. A very nice salesperson at another store earned the commission on my purchase and it will be a looong time before I go back to Value City. I didn't know you had to get dressed up to buy furniture now a days, but apparently you do at that store!
