Bad Experience 2nd day

On the 2nd day, my child was not instructed as to where to go, i stood with her for over an hour while being ignored, and even had a food person, or someone not supposed to be sitting up front(there were 6 of them at front desk, including the Director) talk very hastfully and nasty when I asked about whom to hand my daughter over to. In short, it was all bad right there. It got worse, because as I was waiting, I was lucky enough to see that without my permisson, they were going to load her into a personal vehicle to take her to school. No. I asked what was going on, and i was told verbatim, our bus drivers walked out without notice last week!!!!!! What? Why didnt anyone tell me sooner, i would have chosen another school. This all took place this week. I withdrew her immediately, and asked for a refund for the remainder of her paid for week.....i was given 40$ from a 110$ balance and explained that they took the difference for a drop in rate for the one day she was in their care. Well, she was never registered as a drop in. I intended and did sign her up as a full time student and they LIED to me about her travel(per the document they had me sign that i did agree to). So, with that said, the trust is not there, there ARE other parents I know who found out by me later, but point being...NEVER leave your babies here, no matter the age. I had plenty of time in that hour and 20 mins to find out all i needed to know. There are better facilities nearby, the craziness here needs to be reported and handled swiftly so it can be corrected. My complaints carry on to every agency I can connect with. I will also commit myself to getting the amount of money back that was truly owed. It ridiculous to have taken a hard working persons money unjustly. I would say, it should be shut down until corrextions and investigations are both initiated and complete. The End.

Owner – Glenn is never prese...

Owner – Glenn is never present at his telge location because he is too busy running around with a younger woman after leaving his wife
Manger – Allison is the daughter of the owner that’s the only way she is able to work there because she knows nothing about the business or interpersonal abilities it takes to run a daycare center. Any question she is asked you get a dinky response or is redirected to the director but I guess that’s what happens when you are only a part time manger making 6-figures because of daddy.
Director - Ginger is the devil advocate she pretends to love the children but as soon as their parents leave she is in a rage yelling, screaming and even talking about the parents in ways they have confided in her. In addition she has made several racial remarks and shown herself as being anti-diverse and unopened.
Assistant Director – She is young stupid and a flunky. Whatever the director tell her to do rather it violates morals are not she goes along like she is a puppet. Constantly she makes mistakes and errors in the billing. Over-charging!!!
Classrooms – I will say the campus is beautiful from an outside perspective but I don’t think the toys are sanitized everyday as they claim. One week in the youngest infant room all the children where hospitalized for “air borne”” conditions. On the pre-school side the children are contently getting hurt for lack of supervision in one day about 4 children all ended up in the hospital. Childcare licensing is constantly called and the health department along with child protective services has made several visits to this location.
The class rooms continue to have alerts of contagious infection/dieses and dyer things to stay away from.
Kitchen – the children never eat what is on the menu instead they are forced to eat pre-packaged and can foods. The cook is very rude and sometimes the children are forced to clean up, and not the regular throwing away of plates and cups. This childcare center is already over priced isn’t it there jobs to sweep mop and sanitize after the children.
Gym – The older children are constantly fighting and sometimes the children with special needs are mistreated or ignored and put off to the side.
Curriculum – Although the rooms are pretty the children might as well teach themselves because the curriculum isn’t implemented
Staff – The staff are always sick and complaining about their jobs and management which I feels send a bad vibe to the children
This place shouldn’t even be able to operate it is a money hungry institute.

KRK Coles Crossing is great! I have 2 children enrolled ages 9 and 6. Both have attended since they were 3 months old. When they were younger I used to watch my babies all the time on the cameras. It is great is to able to check on them and see what they are doing. My children have learned so much over the years. The Bridge program with Mrs. Carol is a must. I highly recommend KRK!

I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of the staff at kids r kids when she was only 6 weeks old - she is now 2 1/2 and we are very pleased with our choice. She has learned so much and loves being dropped off in the mornings.

My son has been attending Kids 'R' Kids at Coles Crossing for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. He has learned so much there, including sign language. He is happy when he gets there, he runs to his teachers. You know that everyone there cares about you and your child because everyone knows who your child is by name. All the teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. I can relax knowing that my son is in good hands and is being well cared for. I am so lucky that they had space available. I am just so grateful to them for all their hard work and for taking such great care of my son. Love them!

My kids have attended Kids R Kids for more than 6 years. In that time, they have been loved, cared for, and have turned into super smart little learners. Being a working mom is not easy. Knowing there is a safe place to send my kids is special. The facility is clean, the Bridge program is AWESOME (my four year old could go to first grade right now) and the summer curriculum, with two field trips per week is fun and educational. While their has been some turnover of staff (to be expected), the core staff has been in place for many years. They have watched my children grow, they've taken STEM courses to up the curriculum, and I've never once had a child come home hurt or bullied or sad. Kids R Kids has been a blessing to us for many years.

Poor-This place is a joke the director and the owner are rude and disrespectful when you try to tell them your kids being bullied, constantly getting notes sent home that he was attacked by other students and they never call to inform you. Multiple kids in the 2 year old class are attacked by students that like to bite and theirs nothing you can do about it even though they constantly bite kids in the class there has been more than 5 incidents. The owner Allison which as you can see commented below is talking about being unprofessional your sitting here arguing with someones opinion about your school that sums it up this is what you have to deal with when you go to this school.

I have a three year old that has been in Kids R Kids since she was 8 weeks old. The staff has been so wonderful and loving toward her, not only her but her classmates too. She has improved on her speaking skills and also her writing skills. She has been doing wonderful in writing her name. She is also doing great with tracing as well. My daughter also knows sign language and Spanish. She loves going to school everyday, and when we are off for the weekends or Holidays she always asks for her teachers and for the front desk staff. Kids R Kids is a loving place to bring you children. It has a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend Kids R Kids Coles Crossing.

I usually don't write reviews, but this daycare is so unprofessional I had no choice. My son went there for 3.5 months and credit card was charged for 4 full months. After I complained, I was told they will apply credit following month, needless to say this never happened. Also, my son was placed in older kids room, and after I realized this, I was told his age classroom was already full. Don't you think this is a decision parent should make? If I could give 0 starts to this daycare I would. I will never ever again put my child in this daycare, and neither should you.

I have a family member that goes to this Kids R Kids. He has learned so much the past two years. He is always happy to go into his classroom and meet his teachers. I also like the teachers positive attitude towards the children. About the curriculum, the teachers are uses the Kids R Kids Curriculum from their international! It's really good, I know International gives the teachers good ideas on how to teach the children. Thank you Kids R Kids #49 for teaching my 2 yr. old neice!

Obviously, this is a disgruntl...

Obviously, this is a disgruntle employee who probably was fired and is looking to lash out towards Kids R Kids and their management. Why else would they use a false name and make accusations about people they do not know and incidents which they know nothing about. For the record, Ms. Allison could go anywhere and get a job at a big cooperation earning more with her degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Not to mention she worked at a Kids R Kids for over 10 years before moving into management. Ms. Ginger has been a director for over 15 years and a preschool teacher, so I think they know a little bit about children and the childcare business. Ms. Carolina has been the Assistant Director for the last 7 months and a teacher there for more than a year. Yes, she is still learning somethings but has been doing an excellent job in her new position and I give her props for how well she handels all the centers concerns with the teachers, parents and children. By the way, she has her degree in education, which makes her even over qualified to be the assistant director. The incidents that occured were all reported to state licensing by the school and came back all in compliance. The toys are sanitized at least 3 times a day in the infant room, for I"ve seen it on the cameras myself. Unfortunatly, children do sometimes get ill as in every school and every parent has to know that it will happen no matter what preschool, elem. school or church program they are in. As long as a child is around other children they can catch anything and sometimes symptoms of a illness are shown after the child has already been exposed to other people or children. There was a case of RSV in the infant room and the children were sent home and kept home for at least a week. So the center is doing their part to try to keep illnesses to a minimum. My child has attended there for over 2 years and I have nothing to say but good things about how caring and loving his teachers have been and how clean the facility is.
