SES delivers in-home behavioral and educational services using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and procedures for children and adults with Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities.

Our journey together begins with a complementary consultation. During the consultation we will get to know each other. You will learn more about me; what I do and how I do it. I will learn more about your family’s needs. Following this I will conduct an assessment requiring 2-4 observation sessions in your home, and sometimes in other settings, to determine current levels of functioning and the needs of the family. If you are working with other professionals, I prefer to collaborate with them to gain a greater, more complete understanding of your family.

From this assessment, a thorough and comprehensive treatment plan will be developed. It will include goals with each family member receiving a detailed plan and a way to measure progress. This typically takes about 2-4 weeks to develop depending on the number of observations sessions needed. At this point, there are many treatment options available to you. We will meet to discuss them and they will determine our path.

The core belief of Specialized Educational Services is that families are most successful when each member understands their important role and contribution to a thriving home environment. This is true in all families, but especially within families living with Autism and other developmental disabilities. In a special needs home, each member of the family faces their own unique set of challenges and possesses their own individual strengths.

When the entire family understands each other’s individual challenges and reinforces their individual strengths, it becomes possible to work together as a unit and incorporate behaviors that will benefit both the individual with special needs and the entire family.

I look forward to meeting with your family very soon!

We offer in-home behavioral and educational services using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and procedures for children and adults with Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities. All services are delivered by Sheral Frohberg. She is a Master's level educator and a trained Behavior Specialist with over 25 years experience in working with children with disabilities. Assessments including Deveroux Resilience Assessments, VB-MAPP, and Functional Behavior Assessments are also available. Specialized Educational Services is also offering after school social skills programs and has an exciting summer camp program! Camp Discovery is an inclusive Science, Math, and Technology camp that will also teach the much-needed skills of listening, self-regulation, decision-making, problem-solving, compromise, and collaboration. Located on the NGCSU campus, campers will spend their mornings learning about mapmaking, code-breaking, and geocaching and their afternoons in historic downtown Dahlonega breaking codes and making /reading maps to find that day's elusive geocache.
