I've been taking my dogs to Chestatee Animal Hospital now for 7 years. Dr. Katie Ferris and her great team are the best! They're knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and friendly. They charge fair prices and always give you a followup call to see how your little buddy is doing. God bless Dr. Ferris and her great team!
What more can I say, in April, they saved my my little buddy Sidney's life from the deadly infection pyometra!
Just had my other little buddy Abigail spayed last week. It was another great experience with Dr. Ferris and her great team. Unlike most clinics, they have all the modern life saving monitoring equipment needed just in case something goes wrong during surgery.
Save yourself a lot of grief, aggravation, worry and money and go to Chestatee Animal Hospital in Dahlonega!

Dr Orton was wonderful. When we took our dog to another vet in the area he was traumatized by their lack of caring and agressive attitude (initials of other vet is DVH). He made our dog feel comfortable and was able to check his wound and give a rabies shot without incident. Also did not try to sell us extra things like the other vet hospital. Highly recommended.

My dog broke his leg and I took him to Chestatee to get the cast put on. When I brought him home, He had terrible wounds on his foot so I rushed him back. They told me they "didn't see the wounds" that why they didn't tell me about them. It worried me so I tried to talk to the doctor but he wouldn't get on the phone with me until I started talking about a lawyer. When I saw the xrays, I knew something was wrong so I asked to be referred to another vet. The bone pieces were not even touching. The Doctor told me that he should be fine. Once I got to a different vet, he removed the cast and my poor puppy had bandage wounds all up his leg that Chestatee "didn't see" or tell me about. Thanks to the new vet, my dog can walk. Thank god I knew something wasn't right.

This animal hospital is one of the best I've been to in years. I refer all my friends to them. Friendly, professional and sincere people work there.
