Ok, so here's the story...I'm a pretty enterprising person and generally do my own repairs when possible. My boss asked me not to do the work (I think they know how dirty I get ...and this is an office environment) and so I called the PINK PLUMBER. Here's what they wanted to charge me: $1124 - new upscale toilet $ 784 - new regular toilet $ 748 - repair (seal, fill valve and trip lever) with a 90 Day Warranty $ 449 - repair without a warranty I paid that guy the $59.00 not included in the costs above and sent him on his way. SO - I looked on Thumbtack and this very reasonable, no BS person named ERIC from Georgia Master Plumbing called me and showed up within a couple of hours. He charged me: $ 189 - repair with a 1 YEAR warranty. Eric's great communication and professional demeanor notwithstanding, the facts speak for themselves.
