Calvin Thompson (owner of Thompson Grading) and son in law Nick started my subdivision with 3 homes. They went into bankruptcy in 2009 losing all 3 homes, I bought one that had been turned over to the FDIC. From the moment I bought my home these people have tried to strong arm me. Trying to force me to use one of their family members to complete the construction of my home to the point we had to have our attorney send a letter demanding they stop. They managed to pull the vacant lots out of bankruptcy and have sold a few in the subdivision. They are Currently under construction on one of their lots. On a daily basis I have to fear for my children and my dogs out of my yard because their construction workers speed up and down my street. Finally having enough I asked my husband to go speak to them politely when he got off of work today requesting they stop speeding. After asking them to please stop speeding and exchanging a few words with both the men their, Calvin Thompson’s brother (Don’t know his name) picked up a shovel and threatened my husband with it. I called Paulding County and filed a police report. These are the kind of people they are. Read all the reviews, not just mine and you can be the judge for yourself.

I did not hire Thompson grading company however they did manage to run a bulldozer over my fence on my property they were working behind. After being physically threatened by their employee and having to call the police on him the Vice President of the company did stop by to apologize and said they would get the fence repaired. It has been over two months since filing a police report against them and my fence still lays in the same shape it was when they ran over it. I have heard from other numerous employees on how they are a Christian based company, well they simply do not act like that. If you want poor service and someone who is going to tear up more things than they fix you should probably give Thompsons Grading company a call.
