Provided by YP.comI have had absolutely no problems with my wheels until I went to Ratchford Tire. I’ve done a lot of work to my car, as have other companies, of taking my wheels off and on, yet no problems.
I went to have 2 rear tires replaced and asked them to tighten all my lugs since I noticed my front ones were loose. I was told, they check all the tires no matter what.
Several days later, I went to do some work on my car and found one of my lugs was cross-threaded (front), took it back to them to repair, which they did, but before they handed my car over they said “btw we didn’t touch your front tires before”, I reminded them that they tightened all my lugs per my request and their “normal process”. I went home after to work on my car again and had to take that same wheel off....and now I have 2 more lugs that are cross threaded.
I know they have been in business for a long time, but I will never take my car back there again.

Provided by YP.comThis is in reply to the review that sdbeaver has left... .... I have been dealing with Ratchford tire as long as I can remember.. And have always gotten the best service. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable of the tire and auto industry. You say that your tire light came on indicating a low air in one of the tires. You say that the attendates checked all your tires and aired them up, All while you sat in your car. you say that one called you maam. You say you asked how much. and he said two dollars. and that the attendate took your Card in for you ( all this while you sat in your car) and came out with your bill of $4.oo If you had stopped at a gas station where they have Pay for Air It costs you $0.75 and you would have had to check it yourself and that $0.75 lasts just long enough to air up 2 tires.. So with that being said $0.75 Plus $0.75 equals $1.50... And they charged you $2.00 and checked them all for you while you sat in the comfort of your car. And as far as the $2.oo charge for running your card, They have that posted at the front counter. But you wouldn't know that because you said you never got out of your car. Sounds to me like they gave you excellent service for this day and age.. Do you pump your own gas or do you know of a place where they still pump it for you... I'm sure the rest of us would like to know. As far as Ratchford Tire,,,, Sounds to me like you gave the rest of us great review of the great service to expect when we all visit them.. Ratchford Tire has the best prices I have found anywhere and the best staff

Provided by YP.comRecently I had the experience of stopping at Ratchford Tire in Dallas, NC , needless to say I had a horrible first time experience. Driving down Dallas Cherryville Hwy my indicator light warned me that my air pressure was low. I found a Tire dealership which was yours (RATCHFORD TIRE) . As I pulled into the Garage I noticed two men standing outside, as I stepped out asking them could someone please check my air pressure in my tires due to the light..He said yes Ma'am pull your car right up closer to the air tank. One of the attendents took the caps off and the other checked for air...He told me that the right front tire was a little low . After they finished I said Thank you so much and do I owe you anything , He stated yes $2.00 I was a little shocked but I said okay... but I had NO CASH on me, I said can you take debit? He said yes, after taking my debit card from me from the vehicle he returned where I noticed a $4.00 charge . I said sir you stated it was $2.00 charge , and he said yes theres a charge of $2.00 for under a certain amount..I looked at him like he was crazy shaking my head in disbelief. The next day I contacted the owner to just ask him about if this was truely his policy he stated YES !!! I ask him doesn't he think it would be NICE to made the person that your using the debit card aware?? (He's answer to all of my problems was) ...Do you relize how many people stop in here to check air pressure, he said (15) people stop today.. I simply don't believe that for one minute, but even if that's true that was (15) prospects for customers and he definatley want be getting my SERVICE EVER again... oh yeah by the way the Ford Dealership had to take a nail out of that tire and fix it..and the MGR stated in the service Department in (30) years of his service he has never CHARGED for checking AIR or giving AIR !! and he stops way more than (15) times a day !! Disappointed Customer (Dawn)
