This is the best quilt shop in the area, better than some I have been in, in larger cities.

The owner is a lovely Grandma, and will help with anything you might need, and can tell you what you need for that special kick to your quilt. Small town, but great shop...

This is really a quilt shop with character, as well as with a great selection of fabrics. The store is divited into sections (Christmas, Civil War repros, 30s repros, bright, baby/children fabrics, batiks, flannels) and it has a fantastic set of samples in every single section. They have a well-stocked "Economy Cupboard" where fabrics are $4-$5 per yard, a real savings for good quality fabric. The employees seem to be well-versed in quilting and crafting techniques and to know their stock, including patterns (many free ones are available) and notions. They have a lot of classes and a huge following for their "$5 quilt" classes. It's worth the drive to go there.
