Provided by YP.comLiving here was not that bad with the old management but the worse part was moving out. I gave the apartment over a 3 month noticed that we would be moving out. When the day finally came to move out everything was good and I came back later to pay my final bill since they said the carpet needed to be clean( which it was clean but just a little over $100 so just paid).
A month later I get a call from Jamie from Greystar who told me I owed them over $1,000 since I didn't give them a notice in time. Explained to her that I did give them a notice and I had proof since I got my final bill with my notice I gave them. She was very rude and told me I was lying and I had to pay this amount. She told me it is my job to prove I gave them notice. I sent the notice to her but don't see how corporate can't speak with the leasing office.
I thought it was over and then a week later she calls me to tell me I owe the exact amount I paid on my final payment. Told Jamie that I have already paid this amount and I don't owe anything. She called me a liar again and said that she would send my stuff for collections if I do not pay. I went to the leasing office and they showed me that I have paid everything in full but this lady will not stop bothering me.
I went back to 7421 to talk to the manager there but it was no better. She told me I has to show them I paid. Pulled my phone out and showed her the exact check number and amount that they had. She then said I would need to give her a copy of the check, when I asked her if they keep a copy she told me yea for only 90 day, I told her well great since I just gave it to y'all a month ago, her story changed. She told me if I couldn't give her a copy then it would go collection and I would need to fight them.
First I do not recommend anyone to move here but if you do keep all your records and get ready to pay more then you should. I never missed a payment or caused problems for them to treat me like this.

Provided by YP.comA/C went out 3 days after move-in, 90-100 degree weather and live on 3rd floor with two small animals and heat-induced migraines. Had to ask 6 times for a fix, and the final time I had to ask twice in a single day. It was fixed in a five minute visit, yet I had to ask 6 times and twice in one day to get it done. I asked 3 times to fix the lock on that patio screen door and replace a missing lightbulb in kitchen since move-in June 16th. Was told 4 times it would be taken care of. Over five weeks later (July 25th) and I am still waiting, yet during this time they were able to check fire-safety no problem. This complex will not fix anything if it's not important to them. Too bad I didn't look at reviews before moving in. I spent every last penny trying to get here and now I can't stand to give them one cent more, just like everyone else that didn't look at reviews before moving in. I had better service at a 500 dollar apartment. What am I paying an extra 300 for then?

Provided by YP.comMoved out the apartment with a 30 day notice after a $1050 month-to-month rent fee and got charged over $600 in non-explained move-out fees from Riverstone Residential Group
It took me over 3 days just to talk to the Riverstone Residential Group apartment management; the response was: we don’t have to show any proof of damage; Pay the balance!
They couldn’t even describe any type of damages in the apartment even though I provided many images of the excellent condition of the carpet/walls/etc
The walls in the apartment were painted couple months before my move-out (got charged for re-paint anyway); the carpet was replaced recently but they decided to replace it again (got charged for carpet replacement) and finally the vinyl color didn’t match the entrance area of the apartment (was changed also recently by the old apartment management) so the new management [Riverstone Residential Group] charged me to match the Vinyl (over $260) – we’re talking brand new vinyl; but they didn’t like the previous management choice of color and they charged it to my move-out balance!
An extremely awful apartment experience
Talked to the management for a week and didn’t get anywhere
Didn’t get any help except to pay the balance to avoid additional non-sense fees
In summary: unexplained move-out fees; late fees if you keep requesting damage proves; APR fees on the balance; got threatened that the renter name will be tarnished for 10 years if we decided to pursue the claim legally
