HE DISCRIMINATES!! This man is a heartless jerk!! I don't know if it was Doug Bailey himself i talked to or someone representing him but im pretty sure it was him. I am currently looking for house to rent for me and my family and I have bad credit but excellent rental history. I am also more than capable of paying a double deposit or whatever they need. Before even doing an application he declined me right off the bat because he said my living situation wouldn't work for them and wants me and me only to be able to pay the rent even though there are 2 other incomes in the household. He said because I only pay for a $600/1br apartment right now how could i possibly pay $1000/month for a house? He didn't even ask how much i made so how the hell would he know??!! And everytime i kept trying to explain he just over talked me and said "that won't work for us". But you know, now that I have seen these other BAD reviews I really don't want my family and I doing business with a piece of crap like this!!

I have lived with this landlord since May 2012. My rent is paid on time in full every month and prior to this most recent incident, I have only asked for maintenance twice- once when the AC went out and once when the dishwasher broke. In June of this year the back portion of the fence blew down. It took 3 wks for them to get out and repair the fence. I didn't complain even though I couldn't let the dogs out without supervision. When the fence company finally did show, they cut the cable line. I still didn't complain. Two weeks ago I got a bill from verizon for $230 to repair the cable. I called the fence company who informed me that according to their contract, the signee is responsible for any cut lines. So I call Doug Bailey, who signed the work contract. After two weeks of fighting they are still refusing to take responsibility. I cannot recommend this rental agency to anyone.

Be careful with Doug Bailey Real Estate. They are really resistant to doing a walk through at the beginning and conclusion of a lease, and we got nailed at the end of our lease because we didn't get them to do a walk through before turning in the keys.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN!!!!! Doug Bailey has no HEART!!! I have been with Doug Bailey Real Estate for over 4 years now always paid on time never had any issues getting repairs completed. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer last year and he was put on hospice last month. Hospice is now staying with him full time that is how bad it has gotten. I am taking FMLA from work unpaid and had only 3 months left in the lease I told Doug Bailey as soon as I determined I could not wait any longer to be with my dad. He did not care at all! NO SYMPATHY!! I have medical forms completed for work proving my situation have been with him for 4 years always paid on time never gave him any problems and all I ask is that I am not reported to the credit bureau for 3 months rent. I begged for any other options partial rent for Jan. until another renter can be found, discuss options w/ the owners of the property, or any thing else that could be possible. He simply said no. Not a care in the world about my situation.
