Dr. Bierig was my anesthesiologist during my right hip replacement in 2009. During that surgery, the surgeon, Dr. Michael Taba, fractured my pelvis and tore open my gluteus muscle in my right leg. Neither doctor advised me of these injuries post-op. I was moved to ICU when Dr. Bierig could not control my pain. I received a blood transfusion two weeks post-op because I was so anemic. Dr. Bierig kept trying to convince me that the pain was all in my head, and convinced my now ex-husband of the same, making my life a living hell. I will never forgive this man. He needs mental help.
