In 1988, Big "D" Auto Parts began to work with extended warranty companies, and that became a major portion of its business. However, Big "D" Auto Parts is still an auto recycler and not just a parts broker. Today, Big "D" Auto Parts solid business is still based on the idea that the only difference between one part and another is the person selling it and the service they offer their customer. The tradition is carried on by Hugh Pettigrew, Jr. and Sam Sockwell, who combined have 90 years of experience in the automotive parts industry. Realizing that most auto parts are readily available, we work to offer services that are not.
