Central 214 is attached to Hotel Palomar. This restaurant was featured on a reality TV show called The Naughty Kitchen. I think, due to the TV show, that this place is probably a little over-hyped. Everything I've had here has been OK but not great, and probably not worth the price tag. Desserts especially are lacking in the flavor department. We have had really nice, friendly service here, however. If I were staying at the Palomar and was able to expense my meals, Central 214 would be just fine for a hotel restaurant. For my money, however, I think I've satisfied my curiosity and I'm ready to move on.
