There is a pattern of racist behavior exhibited by the staff that lacks adequate ability to effectively manage a property. Water is off regularly without notice, there is no visitor parking so residents are denied guests - or risk your car being towed. In addition, there are bed bugs and roaches on property. If you do not have to, don't. If I could publish this post without a single star, I would. I understand you "get what you pay for." For the price, this community, as well as the management (WRH Realty), certainly go out of their way to stay true to the phrase. As a young professional moving clear across the country from GA, I depended on my own research and the model apartment tour (those model apartments get you every time), both returning decent results. It is not until the sun goes down and the sub-par renovated pool area is no longer glistening that you find most problems. Of course, this isn't an ideal neighborhood to someone accustomed to tranquility and civilization. The amateurs working in the leasing office haven't the first clue and clearly have no formal education in real estate, which only made sense after I learned they hire temps. Temps that request the same information every month that is provided both in the lease and by your telling them the same thing countless times. There is no wifi (as advertised) and if one virus ridden CPU in the leasing office counts as a "business center," then you have that to look forward to. If roaches are your thing, you have a home in Forest Hills. If they are nice enough to offer a free parking spot with a discounted student rental rate, DON'T TAKE IT. You'll be harassed for twelve months about being short on your rent and failure to pay for your parking space (and if you're lucky, maybe twice you'll be towed by All Star towing to Oak Cliff, Texas). If you have children (I don't), it is best that you take advantage of the abandoned area known as a soccer field. There is no playground. Of course, this entire review written from exhaustion in handling the day-to-day inconveniences concerning Forest Hills. But seriously, If I'd run across a review such as this, I'd be in a much better place. I must now figure a way to get the paint on my bathtub to stop peeling and getting stuck to my skin. So if lack of professionalism, business ethics, and less than favorable living conditions aren't what you would like to take part in for a full year, please...don't sign a lease here.
