Provided by YP.comWe have stayed at the Anatole many times over the years, but this last visit was the best we have had.
The pros
1. First off, the Anatole, even though it has been around for many years, is in impeccable condition. The check-in and lobby areas are very nice, as the spacious rooms. The beds are really comfortable (think Westin heavenly bed comfortable), and the down blankets are coxy.
2. The Anatole is right in the middle of all the action. If you are catching a Mavs game, American Airlines Arena is less than two miles away. The Galleria is a 10 minute drive, and downtown, uptown and Knox-Henderson are an easy drive. My favorite mall, Northpark, is 10 or 15 minutes away also.
3. Nana on the 27th floor is one of the best restaurants in Dallas. I would compare this 5 star restaurant with the very best in Dallas, like The Mansion at Turtle Creek, Abacus or Stephen Pyles. We enjoyed the chef's menu recently, and the homemade pasta was so incredible that I ate it separately from the esquisite poached lobster that it was served with, because I didn't want the lobster to compete with the pasta. Have you ever had pasta upstage lobster? This pasta is that good!
4. I know we are in the south, but you sometimes take Southern hospitality for granted. The Anatole shows you with their service why they are one of the premier 5 star hotels in Dallas. Henry at the front desk immediately makes you feel at home, and his suggestions for activities are spot on. Matt, the manager on duty when we were there went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our stay was memorable. Watch out Conrad Hilton, Matt is gunning for your job!
The cons
The only con I can think of is actually a plus for many people. The hotel is huge, like The Wynn and Encore in Las Vegas huge. Of course, that allows for the many amenities that make this hotel so great, so I guess it is a wash. This is no intimate little boutique hotel, but their service will leave you feeling like you stayed at one.

Provided by YP.comI have stayed at the Anitole for the past three years on my annual trip to Dallas and will most likely not be back. While the service and decor are nice the rates lead one to believe that everything will be in place and ready for your convienence. Extra cups of FREE coffee will cost you. We had trouble splitting the cost of our room (I roomed with 2 friends). They ended up charging one girls card 3 times... The building is beautiful, but for the prices I would rather stay across the street where I don't have to pay to park at my own hotel that I'm already paying for......
