DId reservations thorough this website for a hotel in Maine. When I went to call the hotel directly the number was disconnected. I called the 800 number and couldnt even understand the person who was talking, who transferred me to someone else. Finally after being transferred a total of four times I reached a"suprevisor" who spoke somewhat better English. I told her the story, she said she would call the hotel directly. Then after another half hour on hold, I was hung up on. So this is the situation... I am on vacation in Maine next week and dont even know if I have a place to stay. THis site has my credit card, I have no idea to get to the hotel (no one I talked to even knew where Maine was). DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SITE you will get ripped off. Also, shame on you Hotels.com. You are a Texas company in America with a spiraling unemployment rate, especially with our young people. Dont you think you could at least hire someone in this country?
