I lived at 4209 Junius for 1yr 3m. During that time I was never able to reach the property manager. Not one time. The unit was filthy upon move in. The unit was advertised central air and heat. The unit had NO HEAT. Only space heaters. The building has multiple units connected to the same breakers. I would OFTEN lose power. The breaker was located in the hallway of the building. I would have to flip the breaker up to 5x a day. There was a tenant that started leaving threatening violent notes on the breaker box - taping it shut. As a small woman living alone it was freighting. Smoke detectors in the hallways were always beeping, low batteries, the fire department showed up 2x times for alarms going off due to dead batteries. One night I was woken by Dallas SWAT surrounding the building - unable to enter - mgmt had failed to leave a key in the box for emergency. Dallas SWAT was looking for someone who ran into the building with a gun & couldn't enter the building. They had guns pointing at my unit from the street. Upon moving out I cleaned the unit very well. I returned the keys I was charged a $150 "cleaning fee" for an apartment that was NOT clean when I moved in. I was charged $150 to replace the locks, I was charged to repaint the walls. I looked up Texas tenants right and -"the landlord is to change locks between tenants at their cost" - "landlords can not charge for minor wear and tear to walls, including small nail holes, fingerprints"
The only person that I was ever able to contact was the leasing agent. This roll changed to a new person shortly before I moved. The new guy was no help, very rude, refused to provide his name.
To summarize -*The unit was falsely advertised to have air and heat* I was left with no heat in record cold temps in Texas. *My power went out multiple times almost daily*I had a neighbor threatening my safety*Dallas SWAT incident*Never once could I reach management *Over 1/2 of my deposit was not returned to me for illegal reasons
