J.P. Painting & Decorating was founded by John Pankiewicz in 1998.John studied arts and architecture in Poland and Italy. He worked in various design techniques such as venus stucco, velvet wallpaper and quartz paints to create unique, elegant style.After emigrating to Canada, he worked for Rex Interiors and completed several projects for Tricar Development. In 1999, John met his future business partner, Brent Johnston. Brent has always been fascinated with the arts which he credits greatly to his older brother who is an artist and computer animator in Toronto. Brent has a creative and keen eye for mixing and matching colours and it didn't take long for John to recognize this unique talent. Since J.P. Painting & Decorating began, the partners have established their business as one that stands for quality, uniqueness and great traditional design with a modern edge. We appreciate how valuable time is so we schedule all meetings at the client's convenience. When we meet to evaluate a project, we listen carefully to the client's needs.
