This company deserves a half-star only because they showed up. My A/C problems started in May. I contacted American Home Shield and they sent out Kozy Services. After their initial visit, Kozy returned to my house four times within one month, yet the cooling issue continued. During one visit, two techs argued over whether the TXV valve needed replacing, but ultimately they decided against it. Instead, they "fixed" it by tapping it and assured me that it was "just sticking."



During the fifth visit, they removed my condensing unit for inspection and then later told me it needed Freon. This was performed by techs that never bothered to ring my doorbell. I heard a noise in my backyard and found them halfway through the job. This took place one week after the previous visit, in which they never mentioned an issue with my Freon levels. I was charged a $75 fee for the Freon.



When they did return the unit, they failed to send a tech to ensure that it was installed properly. On the paperwork, they listed the name of a tech who came to my house on a prior visit, instead of whoever actually re-installed the unit.



Despite all the visits, the A/C continued to struggle with cooling properly, so I requested a new contractor from AHS.

My experience was horrible from the rude dispatcher debbie. To the horrible technician julio. Tracked mud through my house, didnt fix the problem. I had to call another company the next day.. on top of that they give me a "follow up call" on the service I recieved. I informed them I wasnt pleased with it and that dispatcher startedbeing rude as well. Wouldnt recommend this sorry excuse for a company to anyone

Do not use. They are very unfriendly and unprofessional. They will charge a service fee to come out to diagnose the issue. While doing that, they will try to up sell you on everything and after turning them down they will be unprofessional while writing up the estimate. Once you agree to do the estimate, they will tell you it will take a few days to get the parts. Then you will get a call from Jennifer who will tell you that you have to get all these additional parts or they won't do the job. So, save your service fee and use it on another company!!!

My experience with this compan...

My experience with this company was good so far during past 3-4 technician visits. Yesterday, their technician wasted my time by skipping appointment twice on the same day and when he showed up he was behaving weird. My observation was that he was not in correct state to work and I was not comfortable him working in my house. He did not listen to the problems I was telling him. He said the system is working fine without even checking if the air was coming out of vent - i climbed on the table and showed that there was no air. I was kind of playing the role of problem finder while he stood there not ready to check or fix anything.

In the end he just left saying he does not have time to stay in the house for ever and that I need to sign the paper and give him service fee.

He left the house taunting, speaking in disrespectfull manner.



I am giving one star because I do not have issue with the company but with this particular technician and I just wonder what criteria or training do they give to their employees. Do not recommend having such technicians in your home - it makes you feel unsafe.

Amazing service!! The man the ...

Amazing service!! The man the came to my house was professional and extremely knowledgeable about my air conditioning system. I had another company out right before Kozy and the difference was like night and day. The other company tried to charge me an outrageous amount for what turns out to be work I did not need. Anytime I had a question or concern the office staff was friendly and helpful and willing to patiently answer anything I had to ask them. Thank you Kozy services for a excellent job done at my home. I would recommend this company above any other company in the DFW area.

Kozy services is the worst excuse for a professional company.

Worthless, rude, unreliable.

Refuse to help people on over the phone.
Have no respect for customers or their time.
Absolutely appalling.

Never ever ever would I recommend this company.
