The company initially specialized in producing high-visibility advertising, public relations and promotional programs for the motion picture and music industries. In 1976, the firm merged its operations with Bozell & Jacobs. Five years later Stan and Barbara Levenson created Levenson & Levenson, which eventually became Levenson Public Relations, offering a mix of strategic communications programs to provide clients with integrated advertising, promotion and public relations services. The Levensons founded Levenson Public Relations as Stan Levenson Associates in Dallas in 1966.
