Liberty Junior High School is located in Dallas and enrolls more than 700 students in grades seven and eight. The school is affiliated with the Richardson Independent School District. It offers classes in reading, mathematics, writing, science, social studies, English and physical education. The school has several clubs, including science, art, beta, care and Spanish clubs. It has a library that offers a collection of atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, fiction and nonfiction books and newspapers. The school provides a variety of intramural activities and interscholastic sports, such as basketball, football, soccer, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. Its extracurricular activities include music, band, choir and orchestra.
