Been to Mi Cocina in Irving and Southlake and had no problems with the food or service. However, the food or service in the Galleria mall was not up to par. Never been back there and have no intention of going back. On that particular night, the shredded chicken that came to the table was bland and dripping in juice like it was just boiled. Horrible. When it was brought to the attention of the waiter, he could care less. The manager was no better. I watched him walk to the kitchen and nothing happened from what I saw in the window of the door. He walked back out and headed behind the counter. He made no apology or offer to redo the meal.
We never saw the waiter other than to bring water (took forever), take our order and bring the food. He never came to check on us or to offer to refill our cups. And, the place was no even busy on a week night.

The Mi Cocina bar is unparalleled - the Mambo Taxis/Limos are my favorite drinks in the whole city (this is coming from a past wild child who has been around the block a few times). I do not think the food is that great of a value, but love the drinks :)
