Highland Park's Best Kept Secret is Peggy Sue BBQ

Starting off your BBQ experience Peggy Sue offers one of the freshest salad bars in town -- you'll swear that the tomatoes are grown out back in Peggy Sue's garden and that the blue cheese packed in the blue cheese dressing is flown in fresh each day straight from Amish country. The dry rub style pork ribs are amazing, the pork basically falls off the bone. The chopped beef and sliced beef is as lean as it can possibly be, my wife and I argue that it might actually be fat free! The beer is served ice chilly cold by either the mug or by the pitcher. As far as value, there is no higher quality, leaner barbecue sold in Dallas for the price -- and no better basic salad bar. The atmosphere is 1950's Western Cowboy nostalgic and is all that it needs to be to serve as a comfortable background for your barbecue dining experience.
