Provided by YP.comI used Texas Brothers to move from Victoria TX to Dallas in Sept 2012. They showed up in Victoria with no tools, Boxes or tape. I scheduled a full service move. They then tried to get me to go to home depot to buy the supplies myself. A few days after they loaded my stuff I got a call from them saying that if I would pay for my move ahead of time they would give me a discount. (shame on me) I agreed and paid for the move before the delivery date. When they arrived at my house in Dallas they would not unload the truck until I paid another 200.00 for a unloading fee. Even though I paid in full before hand! eventually we agreed on a lessor amount and they started unloading the truck (which was a rental truck because the don't own any trucks) my TV was broken and a mirror was broken. They told me I would have to file a claim through some insurance company. long story short...Save yourself some money and heartache and use someone else.

Provided by YP.comI used this company to move from Houston to Fort Worth, they were half a day late coming... I had to file a claim for over 2400.00 worth of broken items in my move, paid for the extra insurance and now I have been told they are out of business. The company that does the claim does not pay the claim only Texas Brothers moving does... so have been told I am out of luck. Poor company, Poor service. would not ever recommend anyone associated with period.

Provided by YP.comThese guys were fantastic. Found them online, the sales person i talked to on the phone was great, and the moving guys were by far the most professional I have ever used. Highly recommend if you are moving.

Provided by YP.comYou guys, if you have to move from Dallas, go with Texas Brothers. Look: I called 3 moving companies for my move to CT. Mayflower never called me back. The Bekins agent made me real angry on the phone after just refusing to give me any information without coming out to my home before she would answer any questions. Then I thought I'd give a local company a try and called Texas Brothers moving. They called me back right away, and I was doing my in home estimate the next morning. I got my moving agreement signed in about 10 minutes and didn't have to think about it again until the movers came.
They showed up within half an hour of when they said they would for delivery, and the delivery guys were great. They kept calling each other "sir," that cracked me up. GO WITH TEXAS BROTHERS MOVING!

Provided by YP.comGreat experience with Texas Brothers Moving. The last time we moved we used one of those 'two guys and a van' type operations with a price much lower than most other movers, and they were fine. Texas Brothers is much better than 'fine'.
The estimator came out, gave me a price, and offered a free package of boxes (2 wardrobe, 2 linen, 2 box, and packing tape). I had All My Sons come out as well and they just couldn't match Texas Brothers price (even after I gave them the estimate from Texas Brothers).
The day of our move 3 movers showed up and worked non-stop. When we got to our new apartment they had a 4th mover show up to help unload at no additional charge, as they had another job to get to still.
At the end of the day, it's not cheap to higher professional movers, but Texas Brothers Moving earns their money.

Provided by YP.comAfter living in our home for 20 years we trusted our move to Texas Brothers Moving. It was the easiest part of moving.
We hired the 3-women packing team to pack our 3100 sq ft home. Amazingly, they finished by lunch.
They confirmed the appointment for 7:00AM, in advance, and arrived early!
They charged an hourly fee, but the client gets to “start the clock”----- they unloaded the packing materials, got organized, toured the home, discussed our special needs before “starting the clock.”
The team of 3 women carefully and quickly packed the entire home. Besides being careful, they asked appropriate questions about how to label boxes, how we wanted clothes packed (folded or hung); they used some of our left-over packing materials. They were very precise in charging us for the amount of packing material. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE ALL THE PACKING DONE QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY!!!
The Moving Team was equally quick and efficient. They worked very quickly with a great attitude. I was very impressed about the care they took with all of our possessions. They examined all the furniture for nicks and scratches --- pointing out imperfections prior to the move. They wrapped wood furniture in blankets, then used shrink wrap. They protected the floors while moving out the furniture, too. What I liked best is that they covered the painted banisters (in both homes) and other surfaces to avoid scratching them when moving in/out the furniture. They even maneuvered a huge refrigerator in/out BETTER than the original delivery people. They also had to disassemble and reassemble some large pieces of furniture (office furniture, bunk beds, book shelves, entertainment center) --- None of the hardware was lost and ALL the pieces were reassembled perfectly!
Both the PACKING team and the MOVING team were thoughtful, efficient and professional. The overall cost was also extremely reasonable -- well worth the money! Moving is hard enough, make it easy for yourself by using Texas Brothers Moving!

Provided by YP.comI have never used a moving company before, and wasn't sure what to expect. But the crew who showed up from Texas Brothers Moving (10 minutes early) led by Jonathan, put ALL my fears to rest. Jonathan did a quick walk-through of the house and asked a couple of questions before he gave his instructions to the other crew members (all before "logging in" their start time). They were quick and VERY professional in their work. All the furniture was wrapped either in blankets or plastic wrap. We were moving to Sherman (a 1-1/2 hour drive) and they arrived at the new house promptly and unloaded very quickly. All I had to do was stand at the door and direct them to which room to put the furniture in, and where I wanted it placed. I had no damage at all, to any of my furniture, or any of the boxed materials. I would definitely recommend Texas Brothers Moving to any of my friends or family.

Provided by YP.comJust wanted to offer an update to say thank you for the help on making this move happen. The movers that came out were extremely professional, worked fast and smart to make the move happen in a timely manner. They even took extra care of the items that we wanted more precaution taken when they were moved.
Please thank them and the managers they report to--they need to be recognized for the efforts and dedication they have.
Thank you and hope you have a Happy New Year.

Provided by YP.comI have moved 4 times in the past 4 years and refused to use a moving service, because I thought it was too expensive and didn't want random people moving my stuff!!
Texas Brothers Moving was amazing!! The price was not near as much as I thought it would be and the men that moved me were awesome! I moved from apartment to aparmtent across town and they moved me in only 4 1/2 hours (including an hour of drive time). I did not have any damages at all and it was very quick. The movers were professoinal, polite and worked very hard. I would recommend this company to everyone! I will be using them again on the next move.
