On March 23, 2013 I placed a down payment of $100 for a brown marble top counter height table and 6 counter height chairs. I asked that the chairs be a specific style and color and the sales manager guaranteed that she would have them by the following day. When I contacted the store the following day the store manager told me that she wasn’t able to fulfill my request. When I returned to the store on the third day and informed Dominga “Donny” Contreras (sales manager) that I was here to cancel the transaction and asked that she refund the down payment, she refused. At this point she asked that I give her the original sales contract, I informed her that no where on the sales contract does it say that I have to give her the original contract. In her presence I signed the sales contract hereby canceling the transaction. The sales contract also required a signature for the rep receiving the notice; which she also refused to sign. She also guaranteed me that she would do the impossible so that she wouldn’t have to refund me my $100 deposit. The sales contract clearly states, you may cancel this transaction within the three (3) business days following the date of this contract without incurring in any penalty or charge. I was left with no other choice but to file a complaint with the BBB.

My wife purchase lots of furniture there. Not to happy with the product, and type of service. They don't show care for customers after spending lots of money there. I have a problem with a foot rest piece of furniture that i took at The King Home Store to repair or replace, instead they threw away what belongs to my wife. Now they want to give us something less worth, and smaller piece of furniture. Be aware of what you buy there. Your at your own risk. Very unhappy customer. Gente hispana. Tengan mucho cuidado cuando compren muebles alli en ese lugar. Abusan de ustedes y de su dinero. Los muebles nos salieron muy corrientes para lo que nosotros gastamos.
