Operational since 1928, Woodrow Wilson High School is one of the top schools in the United States as reported by Newsweek Magazine, D Magazine and the Texas ACT Council. Based in Dallas, Texas, it has a number of academics, including academy of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), academy of business, finance and entrepreneurship, academy of performing arts and international baccalaureate (IB) program academy. The Texas ACT Council presented Woodrow Wilson High School with the 2009 College Readiness Award in recognition of having a significant increase in its ACT Composite score for five years.
