my son got his wisdom teeth pulled they got infected had to go back for meds

This seems like it would be a great place. However, I'm very annoyed with them.



I brought my son in for a consultation about some cavities. We were told they'd to be removed, and asked if they would like for him to be put to sleep. I very clearly stated that, yes, he would. He gets very axioms about dental stuff.



After getting his insurance approval and driving all the way up from Atlanta (he lives with his mom in Dalton), and giving him the pill to relax him, he was good to go.



After an hour of waiting, they came out and told his mother and I they couldn't do the extraction, because he wouldn't calm down. Turns out they didn't even attempt to put him to sleep, just local anesthesia and gas! They did NOT inform us of this random descision, nor tell us why. Not once in the hour that we waited did they even come tell us he needed to calm down. Nothing. Now we have to wait for another approval from insurance and schedule another appointment for him to put under.



If it weren't for this office already having the x-rays and knowing what needs to be done, we would go elsewhere.

I agree with the complaint down below. The receptionist is very rude. She acts like you are taking up her time. She made me want to hang up because she made me so nervous I was getting my words jumbled up. Nobody likes the feeling like you are bothering someone. She is bad for business.

I would like to say that I hate dentist and basically everything or everyone related to the medical profession. But I have to say I really enjoyed every part of my visit at Dr. Chung office. Receptionist were overly helpful and kind and Dr. Chung was very professional but yet friendly making me relaxed and able to handle the procedure I had to have. I recommend highly Dr. Chung and his entire staff!!!!!!
