Damascus High School enrolls more than 1,900 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers instruction in various subjects through its academic departments that include career and technology, health and physical education, science, social studies, special education, foreign language, English, math, and music and arts departments. It has athletic teams for golf, field hockey, football, cross country, volleyball, soccer, tennis, wrestling, basketball, softball, lacrosse, baseball and gymnastics. The school also organizes various student activities, such as art club, auto club, book discussion group, chess club, debate team, drama club, drill team, forensics, international club, math team and National Honor Society. Located in Damascus, Md., the school operates under the guidelines asset by the Montgomery County Public School District.
