Within the soul of each one of us lies a deep longing which creates soul struggle! This is a longing for connectionfor intimacy. We try to fill our longing with many things. However, our primary desire is for relationship. Yet, somehow, these relationships dont seem to fill that longing and our soul struggle continues.We try to find answers. We are researchers. We research how to build better relationships with our spouse, our children, friends, etc. But we are often disappointed because what we thought would bring us deep satisfaction, doesnt!May I suggest that the core of this struggle is God. God is deeply longing for relationship with you. He is pursuing you! He is disturbing your soul! This is the soul struggle.
