No complaints with the service or the cleanliness of this place. It is well-maintained and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated (a minor miracle for a motel) and had all the basic amenities plus some good ones - hairdryer, ironing board, coffee maker, fridge. It also had a relatively new flat-screen TV and new, extremely comfortable mattresses.



Beach access is easy, just a quick climb up an overpass and across the street.



However, that doesn't change the fact that it is a pretty basic hotel in a part of Dana Point that has seen better days (probably several decades ago). The whole area, including the inn, has a sort of depressing air about it that you don't find in the nicer areas of Dana Point.



Worth it for the money, but if you have a little more to spend, I'd recommend looking for something else.
