Horrible ! A simple nail trimming turned into, at this point a month of HELL for my animal. Horrific injuries to 9 of his toes/nails. They are still bleeding and trying to heal. My dog was so much in pain, even on pain medicine he would not eat and shakes. And Dr. Bridges wouldn't take responsibility for what he did and has refused, after repeated requests, to even speak to me. All I can say is this is the nightmare from hell for my poor dog and beware. HE seems like a knowledgeable friendly Doctor but obviously when he makes a HUGE mistake, he turns into something else. I feel horrible for my Dog and have had to spend over $300.00 on meds and Veternary help. Isn't wasn't until I reached out to some of his long time and bigger clients, did he refund my money, but that isn't helping the agony my dogs are suffering. A simple nail trimming. HE said he would take them to 'Show dog" length and instead their nails are all over the place in length some hardly 1/4 inch( most on the most injured at that or less) and some 1/2 inch. A MESS!!! I am so upset for the pain and AGONY my dogs have been going through. I have had to stop almost everything and watch them around the clock and keep them as dormant as possible only allowing eating and going out to potty, no playing and I don't know when this will end, it's been a month. My dogs are not forever PARANOID of anyone touching their feet which is going to make it hell for the groomer, when we can get back to the groomer, we have had to skip appts and my one dog has allergies and he is suffering because I can't bathe him because of his feet. All for a simple Nail trim. My dogs toes where sliced into obviously by the laser. I sent the doctor videos and a ton of pictures and emails. Some straight cuts right into their toes/pads a continued line from the angle a SUPER short nail was cut and he still won't take responsibility or speak to me. One of my dogs hair dried into the SLICE the blood making it look black like her pad and when I realized it was her hair that had gone into the slice and tried she had to go through the AGONY of me pulling out the hair from, opening up the wound, I did it as gently as I could but I had to do it to get the hair out and she SCREAMED! Angry? Sick to my stomach for the pain my dogs have endured and continue to. The staff is friendly on the phone and pretty friendly in person so since there is not a negative star scale--1 star.

Excellent Veternary Care

I have been a client here for 5 years. I find Dr. Bridge and staff to be very caring and professional.

My dogs love the Dr.! He has a way of being able to find their problems even though they can't talk. My 11 year old Bouvier is currently getting laser therapy. I thought we were at the end and now she is able to walk around the block again!

I am very happy with the care we get at Dana Capistrano Animal Clinic!
