Parker Medical was incorporated in 1984 in Connecticut. The company s original charter, which was to design, develop and manufacture X-ray imaging components, has broadened to a greater role in advancing X-ray technology. In partnership with equipment manufacturers, Parker has produced components for both medical and industrial-imaging systems that offer better image quality and allow increased patient throughput with reduced radiation leakage. Parker Medical holds numerous patents in X-ray tube technology with several patents pending.
