We were looking for a miniature dachshund and left our name and phone. A few week later they called to say they had just received a female. We ran down to see her... I fell in love the minute I saw our new puppy MIA!

My family has been purchasing their dogs here since I was a child! I recently bought my Husky at Puppy L ove. The staff is sweet and nice. They truly love their pups and make sure that the people buying them are educated. I will definitely being buying our next pup there!

I purchased a 5 month old English Mastiff from puppy love in September. First off let me say how patient and nice everyone is. I was coming from New Jersey and called several times about the puppy. Finally calling on my way there to put a deposit on the puppy so he would still be there when I arrived. He is a very healthy 110 pound 9 month old right now. He is perfect in every way. The people at puppy love go over everything with you. He came with a health guarantee and all of his shot records. I couldn't be happier with my baby. If I am ever looking for another puppy. Puppy Love is the place for me.

HORRIBLE! We financed with them with Wags Lending. We paid the amount in full in one month. That’s where the next 6 months of headaches, troubles and tears began. I will NEVER use Puppy Love, I will warn my friends, family, anyone who will listen!

We paid the full amount but Wags transferred the amount to Monterey Fin. who began taking payments from my acct. We tried to reach them several times. FINALLY reached someone at Monterey to explain the situation Not a month later we started receiving threatening phone calls from them who are now telling us we owe them fees for non-payment, $500+! We finally got our money back from Wags and couldn't reach Monterey. When we call back, we can’t reach anyone. We left several messages and emails with our cell #s. The calls to our home continued. We realized they didn’t want to reach us. They wanted to bully and scare us into paying additional $. We finally received payment info and paid in full. Today we got another threatening call. Help!

I purchased a Goldendoodle from Puppy Love and she is the best dog! I've had Golden Retrievers all my life, but Luna has truly been a gem of a dog. She's three years old now, 90 lbs and nothing but love. They told me she may still shed since she's half Golden, but she really doesn't shed at all and my groomer loves her to pieces. She's been great with my kids and all the little kids in the neighborhood. She's also become a really good watchdog. She was never a barker and a couple weeks ago we had a bear in the yard that I wasn't aware of and she started barking and wouldn't let me go outside. To my surprise, there was a bear almost on our back porch! I couldn't thank Puppy Love enough for my wonderful experience and perfect girl!

I purchased my dog (lab/retriever mix) from Puppy Love in June of 2015 and could not have gotten a better dog or a greater experience. The staff was very friendly; they assisted me along the way with entire process, as well as provided me with tips and guidance for the care of the dog. It is now 6 months later and the only times I had to visit the vet were for routine shots and neutering. My vet tells me that Dima is a very healthy pup. Lastly, I could not have wished for a dog that is sweeter and friendlier than Dima. From day one he was happy around people and was friendly to other dogs. I will definitely be getting my next dog from Puppy Love!

This was our second dog purchased from Puppy Love. We were very happy with our experiences with them. The store was very clean and all the puppies were very well cared for. That's why we came back for our second dog after the passing of our first. We would recommend them highly.

I purchased a Yorkie from Puppy Love and Phoebe is so wonderful! The woman that helped me was so attentive as I was a new puppy mom for the first time in many years. Phoebe was so tiny when I took her home but I was called that first night by a gentleman who wanted to check on me and Phoebe, he offered additional advice and care which I so appreciated! Phoebe is now a year old and a healthy happy 4 lbs! Thank you so much for my precious baby

Where do I start!!! I love puppy love. This store is unlike any other I've ever been to. The owners and the staff are incredible caring and loving people. They ensure their babies go to a great home. They care so much about their puppies. This place has done so much for our family. We lost one of our dogs and they took the time to help us find another baby to add to our family. They are dedicated caring people who deserve 5 stars!!! If you are looking to add a member to your family, please consider puppy love! You will not be disappointed.

I bought my pug Beans at Puppy Love and he is soon to be four years old. The Puppy Love staff was very welcoming and very helpful. I visit them often and they always ask about Beans. They take very good care of all the puppies in the store and all the staff are awesome people to deal with.

The staff is very friendly and answered all my questions, especially the two owners who I spoke to on multiple occasions before picking out my puppy. I bought a chocolate Labrador 12 years ago who is the best dog I could every want. Always healthy and happy and my vet loves her! Thank you, you're the only place I'd come too!

Puppy Love is an excellent business, and it's family run which means they very much care about the health and happiness of their dogs. The dogs are healthy, cages cleaned constantly and most importantly, let out in a controlled environment to play. My shih tzu is awesome. I would absolutely recommend this store.

I got a Shih Tzu from here March 9th, 2014 and he is great! At almost 10 months now we have experienced nothing out of the ordinary for a puppy (he did have a parasite but it was easily treated and we received reimbursement) and we couldn't have gotten a dog with a better temperament, he is great with dogs and loves people of all ages! Would recommend Puppy Love to those looking for a puppy

My wife and I purchased our darling little "Penny" ( Toy Yorkie 4.5lbs ) 2-1/2 years ago from Puppy Love on a recommendation from a friend. We visited about 6 other puppy stores before entering Puppy Love in Danbury. I like the place as soon as I walked in the door, the place was very clean and odor free, considering they had about 15 maybe more puppies available on the floor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in showing us our Penny and when she pooped on the floor the staff cleaned it immediately. The whole experience was great and would recommend Puppy Love to anyone seeking to purchase a new member of their family.

However, little Penny was a little sick with kennel cough and some parasites, and needed some help from our vet. We didn't seek reimbursement for the vet bills, so can't say if we would have been reimbursed for the cost. But Penny recovered quickly and is now 2.5 years old, happy, healthy and full of love, and we love her dearly.

We have thought about getting a Westie and if we decide to go ahead and purchase another family member, we most definitely would go to Puppy Love again.

I was going to rate this a 4 star because of the illness Penny had, but our overall great experience with Puppy Love over shadows all that, Thank You Puppy Love

I purchased a Toy Australian Shepherd from Puppy Love toward the end of last year. I was told she was only there for 2-3 days the day that I came to pick her up. Once I brought her home we learned that she had: Giardia, Bordetella (kennel cough), and some other intestinal parasite whose name I can't recall at this point. We believe she must have come from the breeder very sick. The sister in the crate was originally who I was coming to get but she seemed out of it which I assume is because she was just as sick as her sister (whom we did took home not knowing how sick she was).



Sean (the owner) was great in terms of reimbursing all the medications that I had to put the puppy on. I was happy and relieved about that. Now. for the last 2 weeks she has had a cough and the informed us today that she needs to be put on a nebulizer 3x/day to treat her cough. It's been one sickness after another with our precious little puppy.



On another important note, seeing the various Mini/Toy Aussies that are coming in and out of Puppy Love I have noticed that my puppy does not have anywhere near the furriness that an Australian Shepherd is known for. She has very very short hair, pricked ears, and a very thin/frail frame. She does resemble an Australian Shepherd in build and personality but in other aspects she does not. I've been told she resembles a chihuahua a few times now.



All that said, we adore our puppy but are questioning if in fact we were sold a Toy Aussie that was bred to standards. We are planning to, at some point, having a DNA test done on her to confirm what is the dominant breed in our puppy since we believe she was cross bred after speaking to a couple of Toy Aussie breeders. It is important to know this for health reasons.



One thing that I noticed while at the store when we were purchasing the puppy was that after I asked if I could find out where the puppy came from (what breeder and location) I was told that this information could not be shared/provided until the puppy was purchased. I think that is poor business practice and indicates that there is something to hide. I also took the puppy home very early and was stuck paying for all the vaccinations and no compensation was discussed during the transaction or any discount applied.

I wish they had a way to give no stars.

This is a store that sells puppy mill puppies.

My yorkie died a horrible death with a myriad of genetic illnesses.

Way after he got sick, I researched and found that Puppy Love purchased dogs from Alpha Craig, DG Kennels in Oklahoma, which is where my dog came from.

Ingorance wasn't bliss in my case because it was way too late when I looked back at the bogus pedigree I was given

It was certified by Hunte Corp. in Missouri, a notorious puppy mill dealer who sells puppies to unscrupulous stores like Puppy Love.

These genetic nightmares will not show up in your limited warranty.

The store knew where they got their puppies from.

My dog suffered terribly and so does my family for what he went through and for our horrible loss.

My only hope is that the owner suffers his karmic dues.

Hey, some people may get lucky, but do you want to count on luck ??????

DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THIS LIAR

My family and I got our Bernese Mountain Dog last september from Puppy Love, and we could not be happier! It was our first experience ever purchasing a puppy from a store, because our two other dogs came from home breeders and I can truly say that the process was easy as pie. Upon finding the perfect puppy, they cleaned him up head to toe, from trimming his nails and cleaning his ears before going home with us.They even put bows in his hair really making him feel like a present! What set aside the store from a home breeder, and made our process even more benefitial was the warranties of the dogs. Our dog came home, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, with his family pedigree as well registration paper work, and with guaranteed warranties to cover his current health (if there were to be issues) as well as for his health up to 5 years down the road. These are a list of things we did not recieve from home breeders on our other pups. Our bernese has not had a single health issue, and fits perfectly in with our family! I would definitely purchase my next puppy from puppy love, as well as recommend it to my friends.Thank you puppy love for making getting our newest addition to the home such a great experience!

the owners of puppy love are awsome...any one says different there are either looking for something for free..or they are the kind of people no matter what you do for them there not satisfied and there mean (mean people suck)...and of course a good portion of people these days are just plan idiots... our first puppy was so fantastic it was love at first sight...she had a few normal minor issues that were taken care of and considerd normal... but than we soon found out she had a liver abnormality...we were devastated...no one can possible forsee such underlying problems like this....especialy even after the vet gave the puppy a clean bill of helath...its just like people...you find out your son or daughter have an illness ...you can blame the breeder but that would be blaming your self...you can blame the hospitol for not know your child was born with a mental disorder but thats unrealistic...i think people just want to blame some one for there problems with out really thinking things out... sean and nancy at puppy love went so far out of there way to help us ..above and beyond for sure...we had returned the puppy because she was going to need care we could not provide ...and we purchased a second puppy from them that nearly looks identical but with her own sunny personality...we were asured our first puppy would be found a loving home and they did just that... not only is our new puppy part of or family ..we now consider sean and nancy good personal friends of our family...just FYI approach people with your problems in the proper manor and you will in most every case receive proper assistance....
