You gotta try the sushi, YES, it's so wild, and I am a woman suggesting this, but this is one of my favorite sushi bars and it has a fabulous restaurant with all types of food for everyone (make sure to get bimini bread, it comes free on the table in the main restaurant-delish!). I was a sales rep and my customers suggested we go there, now I take everyone from my posh in-laws to friends visiting from out of town. if you go early enough in the afternoon you can visit with the huge iguanas, ducks and other species of birds, turtles, huge catfish....wildlife galore, that hang around for your leftovers. Even though you are right off the highway, it's a beautiful serene setting. For the guy in your life there is the Fishing Hall of Fame right next door as well. Send them on their way and have yourself a cocktail on the outter deck!! The staff is usually pretty light hearted and down-home friendly as well. I hope you enjoy it and give it a try.
