The Economic Development Office promotes the preservation and development of the Town economic base by assisting in the retention and expansion of existing businesses, encourages new businesses to locate in Killingly and coordinates resources to expand the tax base. The Director and Administrative Secretary provide staff support for the Economic Development Commission. The Director participates in the Eastern Connecticut Enterprise Corridor, the Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Regional Tourism District, and is a Director on the Board of The Last Green Valley. The Director and the Administrative Secretary provide support services for the Killingly Business Association merchant organization.
