Provided by YP.comBeen going to the Danvers store since they opened. A hit or miss with consistency and quality.
I was very excited when the Danvers Store opened because I grew up on Esposito's bread and birthday rum cakes from the Saugus store where my Dad had a business. The Danvers store isn't far from my work and I had been going there weekly.
No more! I brought this bread pudding to our boat for a special dessert (girl said it was grape nut pudding which is what I really wanted) and when I went to serve it, less than 24 hours after purchasing it was all moldy.
Good lord, put expiration dates on your products!

Provided by YP.comWe have gone there three times now, and the bakery continues to disappoint. In December we purchased a $27 cake. The quality of the cake was below the standards we would find at Market Basket or Stop and Shop. While pretty, the frosting tasted like dollar store canned frosting. The cake also tasted like it was a mix from a dollar store. We decided to given them a second chance.
In February we decided to try some different items, in the hopes that the cake was just a fluke. We had a Italian sub, cannolis, pizza slices, and some lasagna. While the cannolis were exceptional, the sub was bland, and the pizza and lasagna were okay.
Today we picked up more cannolis, and some rum bombs. The connolis were good as usual. The rum bombs used that disgusting frosting from the cake we bought there months ago. At this point I think we are better off making the trek to Farmland in Wakefield rather than giving Espostio another chance.
