Kanes Flower World are what their title says everything that you need for gardening supplies. Their staff is also very friendly and helpful in locating and purchasing items.

You want cheap plants bought from people who know nothing about plants? Go to Home Depot. You want help or plants from folks who know plants (and all that can ail them)? SHOP HERE.
I have been going to Kane's for years; first as a child with my grandfather and then with my kids. One of their favorite places to visit, since they were old enough to walk. The cats are lounging like the Egyptian Gods they still think they are and are very friendly. The owners are ALWAYS helpful and never mock or laugh when I go in with a problem I need treated.
I have cacti and succulents from there that are growing like weeds. My bulbs in my yard are going on their 17th spring. The small rhododendron I bought in a 6" pot as a wee plant is over 8 feet tall and over 6 feet wide. Hardy as they come.
I have had vegetable gardens with their plants and they were healthy and grew perfectly. Their airplants are the best around; take their advice, don't let them dry out too much.
They truly care about the plants and flowers. And have NEVER been rude or out of line with the four generations of us that have been shopping there and will continue to shop.

I go there every summer for my garden plants, never had a problem, although the older woman at the cash register is a little gruff, I can tell she cares about the plants. It seems all of the other reviews here are from people who have NO IDEA HOW TO CARE FOR PLANTS. Oh well, stupid is as stupid does. Could I suggest you all stay at yr big box stores for yr plants? Or maybe, for once, GO OUTSIDE AND LEARN HOW THINGS GROW!! Jeeze. Idiots.

The flowers are beautiful and there is a huge selection however their customer service is horrendous. No one greets you , no one offers you any help and when you go to pay they hardly look at you. You will not get a hello or thank you. They are miserable , they will not even crack q smile. I won't be going there anymore.

I called to purchase a gift certificate for my mother and was told that they were too busy to place an order over the phone. This would have been fine except the man was extremely rude and started yelling at me for having him on speakerphone, which I did not. I will never personally buy anything there because of their poor customer service

Buyer Beware!!! Do not buy anything here! I bought some pots for my flowers, and when I got home I realized the plants would not fit. I tried to return them and was flat out refused even though I had my receipts. The owner would not even allow me to exchange them for the proper size! When I mentioned that their return policy did not specify anything about items being nonrefundable I was told, and I quote "to get out, and that one lousy customer wouldn't change his ability to do business". I have never been treated so rudely in a shop before! Do not buy from Kane's Flower World. Go to Wolf Hill up the street in Ipswich instead! They at least know how to treat a paying customer!!
