Under new management or ownership. The chicken is dry and overcooked. Didn't recognize anyone working there. Been a customer for years , but won't be back.

everytime i visit Lees (every year) i stop and purchase my favorite chichen sandwiches and gizzards, their the best.. I never had a problem with the food there.. being visiting again in may at Lees famous receipr chichen house in Danville,Ill..

We drive 40 miles to eat here. Grab some chicken and go to a park. We have never gotten any bad food. Matter a fact we are goin today!

Went to lees for dinner had potatoes that looked like they sat out all day cole slaw was spoiled and chicken wasnt cooked through called manager and since no ride back today i was told to hold the food i done threw away and reciept and bring it in tomorrow they will replace it. Not wirth my x and juat wont return

Lees chicken is a tasty treat for any occasion. We always take the chicken and great sides to family functions, picnics and parties. Everyone always enjoys the chicken (famous), double dippers and sides such as green beans, chicken noodles, and mashed potatoes. Another wonderful item at Lee's is the pot pie! I have never had a dissapointing meal at Lees.

This is by far the best chicken. My favorite is the "famous" battered chicken over the "crispy". We always pick up boxes of chicken for gatherings at the house and always a must at superbowl time!

I love the chicken at this place! I love the crispy wings and the red beans and rice are delicious. I am also a fan of the dippers and the green beans. The staff is always nice and they get you in and out and on your way to eating the food. I am getting hungry writing this!

Just moved to town late last year and have lived in four cities in the past eight years. This is by far the best chicken I've ever had. Don't change a thing!P.S. Your gizzards & strips are awesome too

I've been eating Lee's chicken for over 10 years and it continues to be the best chicken I've ever had (sorry mom). I travel alot and since I love chicken, I try it almost everywhere I go. To date, I have never found one I like better and the only one that came close was in Lima, Ohio - but it was a Lee's Famous Recipe as well!



Oh, if you're a liver/gizzard fan, don't miss the Monday special. Alot of places I go don't make livers & gizzards any more but the Danville Lee's does and man are they ever good! If you live in Danville, you've probably already had Lee's and know what I'm talking about. If you don't, I guarantee it's worth the drive!

Lee's is a Danville landmark. They have the best chicken that you can get for miles around. The red beans and rice are my favorite and the green beans are made like Grandma would cook. The coleslaw is tasty as well. It's all good at Lee's Chicken!
