In order to write this review, I had to give them one star....that is two stars too many.
After a power outage, my refrigerator decided to stop working. I set an appointment to get it fixed.
He came over and said it was the filter...just guessed about problem....no actual diagnostic work done. Well, it wasn't the filter, so I called back, and was told all signs pointed to the compressor...and it must be paid in advance..once again, a guess on his behalf, with no actual diagnostic work performed. I believed I was dealing with a professional who knew what he was doing. My bad.
After prepaying, and waiting over a week for the part, I moved the fridge out the morning of the great compressor install. I looked at the box in the back of my fridge containing the electronics, and the dust on it was undisturbed...hence the statement that I KNOW no diagnostic work was done. The dust is still there, undisturbed.
Final score...my busted fridge two...
RMH zero.
And 625 dollars up in smoke. It would have been +/- 200$ more if I hadn't complained....loudly.
I felt like they were trying to make a career of my fridge.
By process of elimination...eventually... the thing might have gotten fixed, but I don't have the money...or patience to replace part by part until that day.
It was like playing a carnival game you have no chance of winning.
It never got below 40 degrees, after the 2nd visit (set at 33) and during this recent heat wave has hovered around 50-55 degrees inside, or more.
I don't think he's able to count his nuts... or bolts....twice and come up with the same number.
I should have called Tatro's to begin with.
