I used to love Urgent Care by the Bay (UCBB). They're quick and most of the doctors are pretty good. But now I have a serious problem with their billing department. Urgent Care by the Bay (UCBB) waited until August 2015 to send me a bill for several visits dating as far back as 2013. None of these outstanding bills had ever been mentioned until I asked about a credit on my account that mysteriously disappeared. I researched the charges with my current and previous insurance and discovered I owe them less than $2 if I pay exactly what my ins co says I owe for each visit, which is far less than what they billed me. Most of the charges were misrepresented, but the statement for 1 day is so inaccurate that it looks like someone just punched in some plausible numbers. I've been calling UCBB to discuss this bill for over a month and can't get their billing person to call me back. I will never use their facility again. I simply do not trust them anymore.
